Greetings, Folks,
I'd like to welcome you to The Emerson View, a blog where I'll talk about movies past, present, and future, my thoughts on their impact, and my own view on what was, or wasn't, good about them.
I've been a movie-goer since I was a very young boy, I can still remember just barely being four years-old watching Star Wars through the rear window of my mother's Pinto station wagon, listening over a small transistor radio and being thrilled. It was that moment, the first movie of my memory, that strikes me the most. Sure, I probably saw a lot of other movies before then, but none ingrained themselves into my memory like Star Wars, so much so that I count it as my first.
Thus, a life long joy of going to the movies, watching them at home, and making time in my life to talk about the good and bad of it.
So, welcome to The Emerson View and I hope you enjoy your time.
